HOtel Mobile 1.40 AGILEUM Hospitality

We are pleased to announce the release of Oracle Hospitality Hotel Mobile 1.40.
Discover new features that will enable you to increase your operational efficiency and provide an unparalleled guest experience.

What’s new in this version

Hotel Mobile version 1.40 introduces valuable new features helping users to increase operational efficiency and to provide a better guest experience:

  • Linen change & towel change indicator
Hotel Mobile now displays linen change & towel change indicator
  • Housekeeping credits
The display of housekeeping credits can now be suppressed in case hotels do not wish to indicate the effort allocated to a specific task
  • Accompanying guests
Tablet users are now able to manage accompanying guests in Hotel Mobile. (This requires an Opera Upgrade)
  • Guest Preferences
In order to provide true guest experience, the Hotel Mobile user is now able to manage guest preferences from a tablet. (This requires an Opera Upgrade)
  • Alerts

Tablet users are now made aware of alerts indicating important information needed for arrival, departure and for in-house guests.

  • Arrivals
In the arrivals screen, the user will be prompted with alerts for the check-in area.
  • Departures
In the departures screen, the user will be prompted with alerts for the check-out area.
  • Reservation screen
A red bell icon in the reservation screen indicates that alerts exist. A new area has been added to the screen showing alerts for check-in, reservation, and check-out.
  • Availability
Suite8 customers will benefit from this new feature as of version 8.13 and higher. For OPERA the below-mentioned minimum versions apply.
  • Minibar posting

Housekeeping attendants are now able to post minibar articles to the guest’s room bill while refilling the minibar in order to increase the accuracy of the guest’s charges and to increase operational efficiency.Minibar Posting Hotel Mobile AH

For mobile phone users

Android smart phone users are now able to post minibar articles to the guest’s room bill.
Items can easily and intuitively be added or removed to a shopping cart and be posted to the guests account.
On the small form factor this feature is currently available to Android phones.
In a future release of Hotel Mobile it will also be available in iOS for iPhones.

For tablet users

The article posting functionality is also available on Windows tablets and Apple iPads.
A new menu icon has been added to the navigation bar in order to access the new feature.
Following the same design patterns as existing screens in Hotel Mobile users will benefit from the intuitive shopping cart functionality that makes it quick and easy to post minibar items to the guest’s account.
